WordPress Web Developer (Xbox Gaming)

job summary:
Join this AAA Game Studio Publishing team as a Web Developer responsible for the digital presence of world-class game titles. You will build and maintain scalable, community-focused WordPress websites that drive engagement across the Xbox and Windows 10 ecosystem.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

Migrate existing WordPress websites to a new hosting platform.

Update Sage 9 WordPress themes to Sage 11.

Support ongoing development and maintenance for multiple Game Studio websites.

Assist with automation, build pipelines, and web infrastructure improvements.

Participate in daily stand-ups, weekly planning, and grooming sessions (15% of time).

Perform heads-down coding, code reviews, and cross-browser/device testing (85% of time).

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE The ideal candidate is a seasoned WordPress Developer with experience managing large-scale sites (e.g., universities or major publications). They should be technically proficient in both front-end and back-end development with a strong portfolio of work.
