Senior Claims Manager

<p>Hiring: Senior Claims Manager | Renewable Energy / Construction / Oil & Gas </p><p>We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Claims Manager to join a long-term international project with a leading organization operating within the renewable energy and infrastructure sector.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Remote (Candidates based in Sweden or Denmark preferred)<br><strong>Start Date:</strong> June 2026</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong><br>This position will play a key role in proactively identifying, managing, and resolving high-value and high-risk claims and disputes across operations, contracts, warranty matters, and insurance-related cases.</p><p>The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end claims strategies while collaborating closely with Engineering, Commercial, Legal, Insurance, Asset Management, and Operations teams in an international environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br>Lead and implement claims management strategies<br>Manage incoming and outgoing claims across operational, contractual, warranty, and insurance matters<br>Analyze claims from legal, technical, commercial, and supplier perspectives<br>Support dispute resolution, arbitration, adjudication, and negotiation processes<br>Coordinate with legal advisors, insurance experts, and third-party consultants<br>Ensure contract administration, governance, and compliance processes are maintained<br>Prepare management reporting and strategic recommendations<br>Support commercial and operational teams with supplier and contract-related claims</p><p><strong>Required Experience & Skills</strong><br>5+ years of experience within Renewables, Construction, Infrastructure, or Oil & Gas industries<br>Several years of experience as a Claims Manager and/or Contracts Manager</p><p><strong>Strong expertise in:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Contract law</p></li><li><p>Commercial agreements</p></li><li><p>Claims preparation</p></li><li><p>Arbitration/litigation processes</p></li><li><p>Insurance claims and policies</p></li><li><p>Contract administration</p></li><li><p>Risk management</p></li><li><p>Warranty claims</p></li><li><p>Operational claims</p></li><li><p>Insurance-related disputes</p></li><li><p>Supplier and contractor disputes</p></li></ul><p>Ability to interpret complex contractual wording and identify risks<br>Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills<br>Experience managing external legal counsel and consultants<br>Excellent communication skills in English<br>Comfortable working in multicultural and cross-functional international environments</p><p><strong> Preferred Background</strong><br>🎓 Degree in Engineering, Law, Project Management, Contract Management, or related discipline<br>🎓 Additional qualifications in insurance, claims, or risk management are advantageous</p><p> We are looking for someone who is:<br> Self-driven and proactive<br> Structured and solution-oriented<br> Able to manage multiple priorities under pressure<br> Collaborative with strong relationship-building skills<br> Focused on achieving commercial and strategic outcomes</p><p>📩 Interested or know someone suitable?<br>Please reach out directly or send your updated CV for a confidential discussion.</p>
