This is a remote position. <h2>Title: SAP Data Analyst / SAP SAC Planning Analyst </h2> Engagement Model: 1099/C2C Expected Duration: July 10, 2025 to April 2026 Location: Remote from U.S. Industry: Oil & Gas experience preferred Overview We are looking for an SAP Data Analyst with mandatory SAP Analytics Cloud — SAC Planning experience to support a finance transformation project. The client is migrating from Vena to SAP SAC and needs a hands-on professional who can work closely with the Finance team to review business use cases, analyze data, support the transition, and deliver practical outputs. <h2>Key Responsibilities </h2> <ul> <li>Partner closely with the Finance team to understand planning processes, business needs, and use cases. </li> <li>Review and analyze the existing use case list, translating business requirements into data and planning deliverables. </li> <li>Support the migration of planning processes and models from Vena to SAP SAC Planning. </li> <li>Build, validate, and adjust data models, planning structures, reports, and input templates in SAP SAC. </li> <li>Perform financial data analysis, reconciliations, validations, and data quality checks. </li> <li>Support data organization and integration across multiple sources. </li> <li>Deliver hands-on work products rather than operating only in an advisory capacity. </li> <li>Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions meet Finance requirements. </li> <li>Document business rules, data flows, assumptions, and project decisions. </li> <li>Support testing, user validation, troubleshooting, and post-implementation adjustments. </li> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <h2>Required Qualifications </h2> <ul> <li>Strong experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in finance, planning, or data transformation projects. </li> <li>Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud — SAC Planning. </li> <li>Knowledge of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, planning, or financial reporting processes. </li> <li>Ability to work directly with business teams, especially Finance. </li> <li>Practical experience with data analysis, modeling, validation, and delivery of data-driven solutions. </li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex data analysis. </li> <li>Strong communication skills with both functional and technical stakeholders. </li> <li>Analytical, organized, and delivery-oriented mindset. </li> <li>Ability to work remotely in an onshore model. </li> </ul> <h2>Preferred Qualifications </h2> <ul> <li>Previous experience with Vena or migration projects from Vena to SAP SAC. </li> <li>Experience in the Oil & Gas industry. </li> <li>Experience with Excel add-ins, especially those related to planning, reporting, or financial platform integrations. </li> <li>Familiarity with SAP, BW, S/4HANA, or other enterprise data sources. </li> <li>Experience in Staff Augmentation environments or projects with variable allocation. </li> </ul>
