Our culture of continuous learning, creativity, and commitment to diversity and inclusion empowers you to grow your skills and career.</p><p></p><p>Join us, and together, we’ll transform our industry, making a lasting difference for brighter lives and a better world. </p><p></p><p><span style="color:#537824"><b>More about the role</b></span></p><p></p><p>This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Regional Industrial Market Development Sales Manager to join Cooper Lighting Solutions <span>Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting</span> in <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">the Mid-Atlantic</span> territory, consisting of Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky.</p><p></p><p><b>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><p><b>Selling, Promoting and Training CLS Industrial portfolio</b></p><ul><li>Training Internal Teams, Agents, Channel Partners, Specifiers, Contractors</li><li>Responsible for forecasting, assisting in program and project management support.</li><li>Deliver industrial sales from key relationships within assigned regions and or named accounts.</li></ul><p>​<b>Market Development</b></p><ul><li>Engage key specifiers, customers, influencers on VOC and future MGP inputs.</li><li>New segment, channel development and analysis- i.e., industrial gear distribution</li><li>Execute commercial strategy and marketing program in collaboration with product management.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>More about you</b></p><p>While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or direct work experience in lieu of a degree</li><li>5+ years of commercial sales across a multi-state territory preferably in the industrial lighting, controls, or similar industries</li><li>Experience as lighting sales agent, regional lighting sales manager, or as design professional</li><li>Ability and willingness to travel 50%-60%</li></ul><p></p><p>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs</p><p></p><p><b>Salary</b>: $120,000 - $176,000 Base Annually</p><p><b>Bonus</b>: Target 35% Sales Incentive bonus</p><p></p><p><b>Benefits Overview</b>: Company subsidized benefits plan offerings that include Medical, Health Savings Account, Dental, 401K retirement plan with company match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), Paid Time Off, including paid vacation, holidays/personal days, tuition reimbursement and products discounts.
