Onboarding Specialist (Remote)

<p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">GovCIO is seeking an experienced Onboarding Specialist to support Onboarding/Offboarding, access rights, role administration, VDD, audit support, Jira/Confluence documentation, quality assurance and 508‑compliant documentation to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Data Modernization initiative. This position is fully remote, located in the United States. </span></p> <br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><br><ul><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Lead Onboarding / Offboarding activities including managing user entry and exit workflows</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Maintain checklists, documentation, and process consistency</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Administer access rights by processing access requests</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Maintain role-based access records and support access audits and evidence preparation</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Collect, collate, and maintain required documentation as part of VDD and audit support</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Prepare materials for recurring audits and compliance reviews</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Provide Jira & Confluence oversight by conducting quality checks</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Update documentation, SOPs, and Confluence pages and ensure organization, alignment, and version control</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Support 508 compliance by reviewing and remediating user‑facing documentation for accessibility standards</span></li></ul> <br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><strong><u><span style="color: black;">Required Skills and Experience:</span></u></strong></span></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li style="color: black; font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;">Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
