Middle Software Engineer (Python)

Our people are ambitious, collaborative, and constantly evolving.</p> <h3>What You’ll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain scalable and efficient applications and data pipelines</li> <li>Build and optimize Python scripts for data import/export across formats such as CSV and XML</li> <li>Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions aligned with business needs</li> <li>Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner</li> <li>Ensure high code quality through automated testing and adherence to best practices</li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement by staying current with emerging technologies and trends</li> </ul> <h3>What You Bring</h3> <ul> <li>Strong proficiency in Python</li> <li>Experience with Apache PySpark for workflow orchestration and data processing</li> <li>Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server</li> <li>Experience developing Python-based data solutions for file handling and transformation (CSV, XML, etc.)</li> <li>Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code</li> <li>Solid understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns (modularization, scalability, resilience)</li> <li>Experience with Git and version control best practices</li> <li>Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban</li> <li>Strong English skills</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to have</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with cloud-based data platforms or distributed data processing environments</li> <li>Exposure to fullstack development concepts</li> </ul> <h3>English level</h3> <p>Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate</p> <h3>Legal & Hiring Information</h3> <ul> <li>Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more</li> <li>Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions</li> <li>Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
