We are looking for a Senior Azure Data Engineer / Analyst to join the Platform Engineering team, playing a key role in building solutions that transform operational and business data into actionable intelligence. In this role, you will combine deep technical expertise in data engineering with an analytics-driven mindset, developing robust pipelines on the Azure platform, modeling data for analytical consumption, and delivering dashboards that support strategic and operational decision-making. The ideal profile is a senior, self-driven, and collaborative professional, capable of working autonomously within distributed teams and serving as a technical reference for application and business teams. <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul style="list-style-type: disc;"> <li>Azure Data Engineering: Design and maintain data pipelines and solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake, ensuring end-to-end reliability, scalability, and performance.</li> <li>Analytics & Visualization: Build dashboards and analytical reports in Power BI and Tableau, translating infrastructure metrics, application performance data, and business KPIs into concrete, actionable recommendations.</li> <li>Data Modeling & Integration: Develop data modeling, data mining, and integration processes across on-premises and cloud sources, creating reliable datasets to support analytical models and dashboards.</li> <li>Queries & Large-Scale Processing: Write complex SQL and Kusto queries, as well as scripts and REST API calls for large-scale data collection and processing.</li> <li>Cloud Cost Management: Operate with cost awareness in managing cloud compute and storage resources, proposing optimizations that balance performance and efficiency.</li> <li>Technical Reference: Guide application and business teams on data usage and interpretation, proactively promoting best practices in data engineering, modeling, and BI tooling.</li> <li>Agile Collaboration: Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies using project management tools such as Jira, with the ability to prioritize deliverables and manage tasks autonomously across onsite and offshore teams.</li> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul style="list-style-type: disc;"> <li>Advanced English (C1 or above), reading, writing, and spoken communication with onsite and offshore stakeholders independently</li> <li>IT experience, with experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Analytics</li> <li>Strong command of the Azure platform , specifically Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake</li> <li>Proven experience building analytical models and dashboards in Power BI and Tableau</li> <li>Excellent proficiency in complex SQL and Kusto queries</li> <li>Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as Jira</li> <li>Strong analytical mindset and results-oriented profile, with the ability to correlate complex metrics and communicate business impact to both technical and non-technical audiences</li> </ul> <h3>Nice to Have</h3> <ul style="list-style-type: disc;"> <li>Experience with ETL tools, especially Talend and Azure Data Factory</li> <li>Knowledge of data modeling with Native HANA, TDV, or advanced SQL Scripting</li> <li>Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric</li> <li>BI or Azure cloud certifications , especially Azure PL-300</li> <li>Domain knowledge in Logistics and SAP</li> </ul> #LI_LL1 Our benefits: -Health and dental insurance -Meal and food allowance -Childcare assistance -Extended paternity leave -Partnership with gyms and health and wellness professionals via Wellhub (Gympass) TotalPass; -Profit Sharing and Results Participation (PLR); -Life insurance -Continuous learning platform (CI&T University); -Discount club -Free online platform dedicated to physical, mental, and overall well-being -Pregnancy and responsible parenting course -Partnerships with online learning platforms -Language learning platform And many more!
