The HCP Contract Specialist will play a key role in the facilitation, oversight, and execution of all contractual and engagement activities (including but not limited to HCP consultancy, Steering committee, Advisory Board contracts), collaborating closely with internal partners across legal, finance, and compliance. Additionally, the role involves regular coordination with a designated counterpart on the Commercial HCP contracting team.</p><p></p><p><b>JOB DUTIES: </b></p><ul><li>Acting as a delegate for the HCP contracting Sponsor, ensure that all business-facing and other process requirements / information is available and entered<span> in </span>the systems completely and in a timely manner to ensure efficient progression of all assigned HCP contracts</li><li>Diligently manage all HCP contracting tasks and activities assigned to the HCP Sponsor, ensuring their informed participation and involvement in decision-making throughout the process</li><li>Independently manage assigned business functions, ensuring continuous and active engagement to proactively address the HCP contractual needs of Sponsor stakeholders</li><li>Gather, maintain, and report on future-period planned HCP engagements to assist teams with developing annual HCP budget / forecast needs</li><li>Cultivate and sustain strong business relationships with internal support functions engaged in the HCP contracting process to ensure contracts progress efficiently and timely to execution and ultimately through close-out (e.g., Commercial Operations HCP team, Finance, Corporate Compliance, Legal, etc.)</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement throughout the HCP contract lifecycle and develop effective business cases along with initial ideas for potential solutions</li><li>Develop high-level subject matter expertise within assigned business functions to ensure a comprehensive understanding, enabling better anticipation of operational needs that may lead t</li><li></li><li><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS: </b></li><li>Outstanding customer service skills, with proven ability to<span> interact</span> effectively with all level’s of management and healthcare <span>professionals</span></li><li>Exceptional attention to detail with significant project management <span>skills</span></li><li>Proficient in defining, gathering and reporting key process metrics data to senior management and interested stakeholders</li><li>Significant relationship building <span>skills</span></li><li>International HCP contracting <span>familiarity</span></li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to concisely define and articulate complex issues and/or findings</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving<span> skills.</span></li><li>Self-starter that can distill and appropriately report status and keep management appropriately informed</li><li>Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize workload and the work of others</li></ul><p>Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology knowledge, experience with Life / Health Sciences vendors preferred</p><p></p><p><b>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: </b></p><p>The qualifications for the HCP Contract Specialist<span> are:</span></p><ul><li>2+ years of experience in business operations<span>, procurement, </span>or contract <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">administration-related</span> <span>function.</span></li><li>2+ years healthcare industry <span>experience </span></li><li>Bachelor’s degree required</li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-LG4</p><p></p><p><b>EEO Disclaimer</b><br>Parexel is an equal opportunity employer.
