You’ll blend instructional design knowledge with expert project management to ensure our clients receive high-quality, innovative results on time and within budget. Location: Costa Rica (Remote) Contract Type: Freelance Project Duration: Up to 6 months Project Capacity: From 0 to 20 hours per week Start Date: July 2026</h2><h2 style="line-height:1.3800000000000001;margin-top:24px;margin-bottom:5px;">SweetRush is a remote organization, and as such, all resources must be technically savvy, have access to a strong internet signal, be comfortable with virtual/instant messaging and conferencing tools, and generally be available during established working hours.</h2><h2 style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:24px;margin-bottom:8px;">Hourly Range: Negotiable</h2><h2 style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:24px;margin-bottom:8px;">Your Impact and Responsibilities </h2>Project Leadership & Execution<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Collaborate with Sales to align client needs with PM best practices.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Develop and manage end-to-end project plans (Agile or Waterfall), including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), resource allocation, and risk mitigation.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Anticipate roadblocks and pivot quickly in complex, ambiguous environments.</li></ul>Team & Client Partnership<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Serve as the primary client contact and consultative guide, translating complex processes into clear decisions.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Facilitate collaborative sessions to foster innovation while managing team priorities and conflicting demands.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Foster strong, empathetic relationships to understand client business strategy and organizational culture.</li></ul>Financial & Strategic Growth<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Own project financial health: track expenses, target utilization, and profit margins with full transparency.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Identify growth opportunities via change orders to enhance project value and learner engagement.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Connect project goals to the client’s broader business landscape and suggest innovative tools or delivery methods.</li></ul><h3 style="line-height:1.38;background-color:#ffffff;margin-top:19px;margin-bottom:5px;">What You Bring</h3><ul><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Education: Bachelor's degree (Master's in ID or Business is a plus).</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Experience: 5–7 years in PM, specifically within the Learning & Development industry.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Expertise: Deep knowledge of ID principles, adult learning theories, and eLearning standards (SCORM, xAPI, WCAG).</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Tech Savvy: Proficient in tools like Jira/Asana and familiar with authoring tools/virtual training platforms.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Business Acumen: Strong financial tracking, negotiation, and data-driven decision-making skills.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Soft Skills: Decisive leadership, conflict resolution, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.</li></ul>Bonus Points: PMP certification and experience with globally distributed teams.
