Auto Import<p><b>Job Title:</b> Facility Maintenance Specialist</p><p><b>Job Description:</b></p><p>As a Facility Maintenance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Performing various painting tasks on indoor and outdoor facilities as well as equipment using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.</li><li>Making minor repairs to plumbing fixtures, including disposal systems, leaky drains, and faucets.</li><li>Executing simple carpentry work, such as installing mirrors, shelves, and curtain rods.</li><li>Refinishing damaged furniture and patching walls.</li><li>Repairing and replacing doors, locks, closures, windows, and screens.</li><li>Changing electrical outlets, switches, and light fixtures.</li><li>Maintaining housekeeping equipment and moving furniture as needed.</li><li>Changing air conditioning and heating filters to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Investigating reported maintenance issues to determine their causes and taking corrective actions where possible.</li><li>Completing preventive maintenance across all areas and escalating complex issues to the Base Civil Engineer.</li><li>Tracking maintenance activities using AF Forms 332.</li><li>Acting as an in-house project manager for self-help renovation efforts, including supply determination and work scheduling.</li><li>Performing other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>You'll utilize a Government-Owned Vehicle (GOV) to conduct various maintenance jobs at all lodging buildings. This position is supervised by the Lodging Manager, who will provide assignments. Your work will be guided by oral and written instructions as well as established techniques and procedures, and your completed tasks will be periodically reviewed for compliance.</p>
