Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee complaints and concerns, including allegations of harassment, discrimination, and policy violations. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices related to employee relations. Develop, implement, and update employee relations policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Advise on disciplinary actions, terminations, and performance management issues, ensuring consistency and fairness. Collaborate with legal counsel when necessary on complex employee relations matters. Facilitate training sessions for managers and employees on topics such as conflict resolution, anti-harassment, and respectful workplace conduct. Analyze employee relations trends and data to identify systemic issues and recommend proactive solutions. Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through various initiatives and programs. Act as a mediator in workplace disputes, striving for amicable resolutions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Psychology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically focused on employee relations, investigations, and HR compliance. Proven experience conducting sensitive and complex workplace investigations. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Strong understanding of HR best practices and principles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and discretion. Demonstrated ability to remain objective and impartial. Proficiency in HRIS systems and experience with investigation documentation. Experience working effectively in a fully remote or distributed team environment is essential.
