Location: Remote (Must be available during PST OR MST hrs) Compensation: $65,000–$85,000 DOE Employment Type: Full-Time Verde is looking for a talented Creative Marketing & Content Specialist to help bring our brand to life through clear, creative, and engaging content. The Marketing & Content Specialist plays a key role in organic growth, new business development, and maintaining Verde's fun, purpose-driven brand voice. If you love writing content that's smart, approachable, and actually gets read, this role is for you. <h3 data-start="848" data-end="866">What You'll Do</h3> As a Creative Marketing & Content Specialist, you'll create and manage content across a wide range of channels and formats, including: <ul data-start="999" data-end="2297"> <li data-start="999" data-end="1167"> Write original, engaging content for RFPs, proposals, email campaigns, press releases, marketing materials, white papers, award applications, and training resources </li> <li data-start="1168" data-end="1263"> Maintain and evolve Verde's brand voice ("Verde Vibes") - casual, engaging, simple, and fun </li> <li data-start="1264" data-end="1400"> Thoroughly read, respond to, and submit Requests for Proposal (RFPs) while strictly following formatting and submission requirements </li> <li data-start="1401" data-end="1517"> Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop and standardize companywide content </li> <li data-start="1518" data-end="1620"> Write announcements and press releases for company news, awards, technology updates, and new hires </li> <li data-start="1621" data-end="1697"> Transform written policies into engaging training and onboarding content </li> <li data-start="1698" data-end="1784"> Develop creative marketing content to support sales and business development teams </li> <li data-start="1785" data-end="1871"> Create, schedule, and manage social media content that is fun, witty, and on-brand </li> <li data-start="1872" data-end="1941"> Proofread and edit internal presentations, decks, and newsletters </li> <li data-start="1942" data-end="2015"> Assist with new business presentations and quarterly business reviews </li> <li data-start="2016" data-end="2091"> Review content created by other departments to ensure brand consistency </li> <li data-start="2092" data-end="2200"> Perform light design work or collaborate with a designer to ensure final materials are visually on brand </li> <li data-start="2201" data-end="2297"> Use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity without compromising originality or quality </li> </ul> <h3 data-start="2304" data-end="2322">Qualifications</h3> <ul data-start="2324" data-end="2794"> <li data-start="2324" data-end="2395"> Minimum 2 years of professional or corporate writing experience </li> <li data-start="2396" data-end="2462"> Strong writing portfolio required (writing and design samples) </li> <li data-start="2463" data-end="2518"> Excellent grammar, editing, and storytelling skills </li> <li data-start="2519" data-end="2572"> Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines </li> <li data-start="2573" data-end="2639"> Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Suite </li> <li data-start="2640" data-end="2705"> Experience with marketing, content strategy, or brand writing </li> <li data-start="2706" data-end="2794"> Experience in facilities services, sustainability, green cleaning, or LEED is a plus </li> </ul> <h3 data-start="2801" data-end="2830">You're a Great Fit If You</h3> <ul data-start="2832" data-end="3207"> <li data-start="2832" data-end="2877"> Write quickly without sacrificing quality </li> <li data-start="2878" data-end="2912"> Love simplifying complex ideas </li> <li data-start="2913" data-end="2972"> Enjoy research and becoming knowledgeable on new topics </li> <li data-start="2973" data-end="3026"> Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment </li> <li data-start="3027" data-end="3080"> Are detail-oriented and comfortable managing RFPs </li> <li data-start="3081" data-end="3154"> Know how (and when) to use AI - and how to edit it so no one can tell </li> <li data-start="3155" data-end="3207"> Appreciate a positive, energetic company culture </li> </ul> <h3 data-start="3214" data-end="3229">About Verde</h3> Verde is a U.S.-based commercial facilities services company delivering cleaner, greener workplaces.
