Overview
A private ultra-high-net-worth principal is seeking a polished, service-driven Butler / Flight Attendant to provide seamless support across multiple residences and during frequent domestic and international travel. This role blends traditional butler service with elevated in-flight service, requiring a candidate who is equally comfortable delivering white-glove service on the ground and in the air.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, discreet, and adaptable, with a strong understanding of formal service, aviation protocols, and the fast-paced rhythm of a global lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
Flight Attendant & Travel Support
- Travel alongside the principal to provide high-touch, real-time support
- Deliver elevated in-flight service (private or commercial), including:
- Meal and beverage service
- Cabin setup, presentation, and readiness
- Guest care and comfort throughout flights
- Ensure aircraft is fully stocked, organized, and prepared prior to departure
- Coordinate with pilots, crew, and FBOs to ensure seamless travel logistics
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the cabin during and after flights
- Anticipate and respond to the principal’s needs with discretion and efficiency
Butler & Service Responsibilities
- Uphold and execute white-glove service standards for the principal and guests
- Provide formal and informal service, including table settings, dining service, and hosting support
- Prepare residences for arrivals, departures, and guest stays, ensuring immaculate presentation
- Maintain interiors, including fine furnishings, finishes, art, and specialty items
- Support wardrobe care, packing/unpacking, and garment maintenance, particularly during travel
Household Coordination & Operations
- Liaise with household staff, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth daily operations
- Manage inventories, household supplies, and service items
- Assist with small gatherings, events, and entertaining
- Ensure residences are consistently maintained to the highest standard
General
- Manage ad-hoc requests and last-minute changes with a calm, solutions-oriented approach
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times
- Adapt quickly to changing schedules, travel plans, and priorities
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of experience in private service, as a Butler, Flight Attendant, or similar role within UHNW households, private aviation, yachting, or luxury hospitality
- Strong background in formal service, etiquette, and guest experience
- Proven experience supporting heavy domestic and international travel
- Prior in-flight service experience (private aviation strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of aviation protocols, safety procedures, and cabin service standards
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Calm, flexible, and adaptable in fast-paced, ever-changing environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work alongside pilots, crew, and household staff
- Physically capable of a hands-on role, including lifting luggage and cabin preparation
- Valid passport with ability to travel internationally without restriction
- Valid driver’s license and authorized to work in the U.S.
