AIRPORT BUS OPERATOR (JFK Airport)
Starting Pay: $28.00/hr.


Job Duties:

  • Safely operate company buses and shuttle vehicles throughout JFK Airport, including terminals, parking areas, and operational zones
  • Transport employees and authorized personnel in a safe, timely, and professional manner
  • Conduct required pre‐trip and post‐trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT and company standards
  • Report accidents, incidents, mechanical issues, or safety concerns to supervision
  • Follow all Port Authority, DOT, TSA, and company safety regulations
  • Maintain professional communication with supervisors and passengers
  • Ensure passengers board and exit vehicles safely at designated stops
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of assigned vehicle
  • Fuel buses and equipment as required
  • Complete required documentation including inspection reports, incident reports, and shift logs
  • Comply with airport security and identification badge requirements


Requirements:

  • Valid New York State CDL Class A or B with Passenger (P) endorsement
  • Valid DOT Med Certificate
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Port Authority / Airport Security badge
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Ability to perform job duties in an active airport environment


Schedule:

  • Full‐Time
  • A.M., P.M., and Overnight shifts available
